Pulls in very strong signal on channels 8, 10 and 12 at a distance of about 35-40 miles. I live in a very unusual area that has three digital channels on the vhf band. I coupled two of these antennas together aimed in different directions using a Channel Master Jointenna. Works great!

I was previously using just an Antennas Direct DB8 UHF only antenna. With the DB8 I was able to pull in all of the the local UHF stations as well as quite a few broadcasting from 100 miles away from a similar direction. I purchased this to solve a weak signal for a station that is ~40 miles away and transmitting on VHF frequency channel 10.

When I added the YA-6713 to the DB8 (through a winegard 7777 amp) not only did I begin receiving a solid signal for the local VHF frequency 10, I also now receive additional VHF channels at the 100 mile distance.

My only concern is the way the plastic cover for the leads snaps on to the antenna. It seems to work fine, however if you are not careful you could snap it on improperly and fail to make good contact. Also since it only snaps on I am concerned with the long term lifespan. That is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5.
