Its a great antenna..But its pretty huge..Use it with the converter boxes.Picks up alot of stations..First I had it in the house then mounted it on the roof run cables lines to each bedroom from the antenna with the 3way thing. So basically I bought this and saved myself the purchase of 2 more or other antennas for the 2 other bedrooms!!!!

  2. Elisa Abolafia says:

In addition to installing the converter box for digital TV, I wanted to purchase a new, amplified antenna. I trusted the name , and find it very efficient. A bit large and cumbersome on top of my TV, but I’m used to it already. Glad I got it.

I have 3 HDTVs at home and though I have DishHD I prefer OTA with the built-in TV tuner. I have an older Jensen power antenna, a Samsung TV5.4 SAX and this one, the Samsung is the best performer and pulls in 100% of all locals in the SF Bay Area and never needs to be moved. This Philips pulls in about 60% on a good weather day, extremely directional, between NBC and ABC/CBS/FOX (NBC on SB Mtn, others on Sutro), I would have to move it around to get signals. Oh, the Jensen works about the same as the Philips but it has a remote to turn the antenna so I can program it for different positions so in a way better than the Philips. Too bad they discontinue all the better and cheaper ones.

  4. H. Falmer says:

Antenna has worked as stated, because of my location it has to be adjusted for different TV stations.

  5. A. K. says:

I put this puppy in my attic and get all available channels except for 1. At 42 miles from the source that is great for an antenna as small as this one.
